Upcoming curriculum revisions

Curricula to be implemented at the beginning of the 2024–25 school year:
- a new de-streamed Grade 9 Exploring Canadian Geography course
- new Grades 9 and 10 Business Studies courses
- new and revised Grades 9 and 10 Technological Education courses
- new mandatory learning on mental health literacy in the Grade 10 Career Studies course
Curricula to be implemented at the beginning of the 2025–26 school year:
- an updated Kindergarten curriculum
- new expanded learning on the Holocaust and new mandatory learning on the Holodomor famine and the experiences and history of Black Canadians in the Grade 10 Canadian History Since World War I course
- new mandatory learning on the experiences and history of Black Canadians in Grades 7 and 8 History
